This was a custom order all handmade rifle built in 1984 for a retired Naval officer. He was interested in having a sailing ship engraved on the box and an eagle incorporated in the design. I found a rifle in Kindig's book with a sailing ship engraved on it so I guess the idea wasn't to far out.
